TWAA Fishing
The PVA Bass Tour introduces people with disabilities to recreational and competitive sport of bass fishing.
Currently, the Tour has six tournaments. The success of the Tour has drawn the attention of the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (B.A.S.S.),
who now officially sanction the Tour.
Each tournament consists of an Open/Team Competition for those who wish to fish from a boat and a
Bank Competition for those who prefer to fish from the shore. Disabled anglers in the Open/Team Competition are
paired with able-bodied boat partners and fish as a team.
The boat partners serve as coaches and help in finding fishing locations and choosing baits.
The boat partners whose anglers place in the top ten also win.
Awards and prizes are given to both anglers and boat partners.
